[sci.electronics] Ultrasonic anemometer

Someone gave me an interesting article:

An Inexpensive Sonic Anemometer for Eddy Correlation
   by G. S. Campbell and M.H. Unsworth
_Journal of Applied Meteorology_ v. 18, August 1979.

It uses inexpensive ultrasonic transducers and PLL circuitry. It has
no moving parts, detects very low velocities, is directional, low-
powered, and can be built from about $20 worth of Radio Sh*ck parts.
It also has a temperature output. I plan to build one for cave-wind
and other infrasonic studies. Copy for SASE.
