I have a XT compatable computer. I have read different info about whether a XT can have a high-density disk drive/controller or not. Can anybody give me some reasons behind those arguments? It depends entirely on the Floppy Disk Controller (and ya gotta have a 1.2 drive - or whatever). Look for a BIOS ROM on the FDC card. That usually means it might. If it doesn't have the ROM, it WON'T.
