I'd like to hear from anyone out there either interested in or involved with university-level marching or pep (i.e. Basketball) bands, particularly anyone involved in running such organizations. Perhaps we can set up an exchange of useful information (cheers, arrangements, where to get stuff cheap, whatever). I think it would be interesting to hear what others are doing. Those of you who suspect that your school's band doesn't have access to this net - if there's any way you can find out the name of your school's marching band director, I would greatly appreciate it if you could pass this along to me (with a mailing address too, if possible). I'm interested in "Computer-Assisted Control of Marching and Pep Bands" (music typesetting and arranging systems, half-time-show graphic editing systems, who knows what else) and want to find out some names and addresses of useful people to know. Of course if there are marching bands at AT&T or other commercial sites I'd like to hear from them too!
