[sci.electronics] Using a PC to drive relays??

I need to operate several contact switches on a stereo remote control.  It
is not wire-less.  I am wanting to use relays to do the switching and use
my computer to control the relays.  These relays will be conducting a very
small current.  My question is this:

	What would be the best relay to use as an open/close switch
	that can be contolled digitally via my PC?

maybe some of you might even know of some good books or magazine articles
I might be able to use a reference.
