I have some questions on impedance matching of transducers using transformers. I have the unmatched complex impedance curve for my transducer. I need to match an amplifier (50 Ohms) to that of my transducer (afew ohms & complex). Questions: 1) For Freq>100kHz & <2MHz, should I use line or conventional transformers ? 2) How do I perform the impedance matching given the unmatched complex imdedance curve of my transducer (LOAD) ? E.g. # windings, resultant 3 dB bandwidth calculations, inductors/capacitor tuning??? etc. Any suggestions or references to help me with the above is greatly appreciated. Thanks a 1.000e6 !! V.
