I'm interested in finding out more about optical media. Specifically, concerning advances in read/write laserdisks and the like. I have heard interesting rumors from the Japanese high tech field and am looking for sources of data. Though I am studying Japanese, I am not good enough to read technical Japanese well (yet) so English sources would be preferred.
