[sci.electronics] Question on DRAMs

rbdc@cbnewsc.att.com (Robert B. Dalla Costa) (12/04/90)

I have a system which uses 81256-15 DRAMs. I think that the 256 means
256k x 1, and -15 means 150ns, but I have no idea that the 81 means.
I am expanding this system and my question is can I use 50256-15 chips
to expand it? What is the difference between the 81256-15 and the 50256-15?

Thanks,
