Here at No. Az. U. we are considering buying some type of
development system to allow our students to have experience
with Programmable Logic Devices ("hands on"). In order to
keep costs within reason, it seems reasonable to use the
UV erasable PLD (or maybe the EE PLDs, although I've not
used any of those). We have been looking at the Altera
and Intel systems. We'd be interested also in suggestions
on other software/hardware packages. If you have a favorite,
please drop me a note.
