[sci.electronics] Usefulness of EMC/EMI books

positron@cosmic.berkeley.edu (Shigeki Misawa) (12/13/90)

Has anyone taken a look at the electromagnetic compatibility
/ interference books published by Don White Consultants ? Are they
any good, are they helpful in the design of high speed/ high gain
amplifiers and circuit boards? Thanks in advance.

They are ok. You might also consider "Noise Reduction Techniques in
Electronic Systems", by Henry Ott (2nd edition), Wiley-Interscience,
605 Third Ave., New York, NY 10158-0012. ISBN 0 471-85068-3. It may
be a better general reference for any noise reduction problems.
