[sci.electronics] Carrier Current Transmitter Wanted

flash@lopez.UUCP (Gary Bourgois) (01/02/91)

I have a project that requires a low power AM or FM transmitter with
decent audio quality. This transmitter must be legal (Part 15) to
operate, or be able to be made legal under the FCC license free
statutes.

Transmitters like this are in use on college campuses, and similar
situations where coverage of a single building is required. They feed
the signal into the power lines, and hence do not radiate beyond the
building.

I saw two such units at a recent hamfest, and almost bought them, but
did not have a need for them at that time. (I.e. I kick myself) the
prices were very reasonable.

If someone on the net has such a unit for sale (LPB or PANAXIS or
similar type system) at a price that will not break my modest bankbook,
please send EMAIL to

flash@lopez.UUCP

Thanks!
