If you have a new Simpson 260-8 VOM it is very easy to add the audible continuity tester that is included on the 260-8P. All of the wiring is there already, you just need to solder a piezo-buzzer to the circuit board. A Radio Shack 273-074 fits perfectly. Take the back housing off and solder the buzzer in the two extra holes on the right side of the pc board. Positive should be oriented towards the bottom of the meter case. To use the audible contiuity funtion, turn the meter switch to OFF. When you touch the probes together it will beep without any meter indication. -Ken
