I'm sure this must have come up before, so if anyone saved any previous replies, or if anyone would like to share experiences : We're thinking of getting a PC based logic analyser board. It will go into a 386SX or DX based PC with at least VGA. The logic analyser itself is intended for low speed logic circuits (below 10MHz clocks), but we'd like to be in the 50 - 100 MHz sample rate anyway. Reasonable specs for number of channels, depth of triggering, etc. The software should be reasonably helpful, should at least display waveforms, and optionally print w/f's to a LJ or dot matrix. We're not terribly price sensitive : we'd like to stay in the $1 - $1.5K range, but we'd like to have a well designed, well built unit, from a stable company. Please post your experiences with various brands, or if you email, I'll summarize without attribution.
