Hi, I have a book called 'Electronic Projects for Musicians' and it uses the 4739 and 4136 op amps. I am having trouble finding a convenient suplier for these and am wondering how I go about choosing replacements. I am not interested in pin compatability (and using two chips for a dual op amp is not inconvenient). I have found other audio op amps that have lower noise characteristics, can I just replace the chips with these. What I don't want to do is mess around with resistor and capacitor values (as you can see I can only manage to build the projects, I know nothing of analogue electronics!). Many thanks, Andrew.
