 Since there have been a number of X-10 contol postings here 
 lately (keep it up!), I though that I'd point out that there is
 a mailing list and archive site... here is that information:

			Gramkow.  The RC-5000 is a Wireless Remote
			Control System.  It consists of an eight unit,
			four function Wireless Remote Control (RT-504)
			which transmits radio frequency (RF) signals
			to turn ON or OFF a light or appliance plugged
			into the Transcever/Appliance Module (RR-501).
			The (RR-501) is also included with the system.

solus		  1441	Brief description of the Solus PC interface,
			by Dave Buck. The Solus device has fairly
			powerful monitoring and control capabilities,
			including weather and temperature monitoring
			and X-10 device control.  Pricing info. included.

			Responder, by Dennis Gramkow.  The Telephone
			Responder is an X-10 controller which plugs
			into a standard 120V outlet and a standard
			modular telephone jack.  Dec 1, 1990

um506		  2120	Description of the X-10 UM-506 Universal Module,
			by Dennis Gramkow.  The Universal Module
			contains an isolated contact relay and a piezo
			sounder (beeper).  It can be set to operate as
			an isolated contact relay only, sound beeper, or both.

x10.general	  3238	General discussion about X-10, covering in
			particular the 2-way transceiver concept.
