Hi,

about $19, it wasn't on sale but looked neat. I haven't used it for
anything yet. I remember the "old" mini-controller that RS used to seel,
with the seperate ON/OFF buttons; I had one for a few years, and eventually
built an interface to my VIC-20 for it, using opto-isolators!

I recently purchased the CP-290 X-10 interface with a serial port,
and that seems like a pretty good unit for what I want to do, but it would
have been nice if it also sent the X-10 data that was present on the
powerline over the serial port back to the computer.

How does it work? What do you get out of it? A bit stream? How
did they castrate it?
