[sci.electronics] NTSC ---> CIF

I'm trying to find a chip/circuit to convert from NTSC to CIF (common
intermediate format).  Obviously, the "dream" chip would have an input
for the raw analog NTSC signal and an output for the digital CIF format,
but any ideas, chips, etc. would be appreciated.
