[net.wanted] UNIX training courses

bob@onyx.UUCP (Bob Toxen) (12/13/83)

I don't know about the WECo Training classes but ITS in San Francisco
offers courses in UNIX that are very good. (I am biased as I teach the
ones on UUCP and MAKE and ITS's president was my favorite prof at
Berkeley.) The courses include "MAKE", "UUCP", "Block device drivers",
"Char device drivers", "the I/O system", "Network protocols" by Greg
Chessen who helped write UUCP, "SHELL a la carte" by Steve Bourne who
wrote the Bourne shell, "NROFF" by Bill Tuthill who maintained it at
Berkeley, "VI", etc.
