What is a good mail-order house for hf & vhf parts for homebrewing? All of my old standby parts places are waxing digital these days. I want to have access to coil forms, vhf transistors, useful ICs, caps, etc. Alan whinery@hale.ifa.hawaii.edu NH6?? -- Regards, Alan Whinery whinery@hale.ifa.hawaii.edu

Digi-Key (1-800-DIGIKEY) is getting more and more into RF parts. They have a lot of Toko inductors, variable capacitors, crystal filters, and some interesting ICs (including the Signetics NE602N mixer-oscillator).

Here's a posting from rec.ham-radio about a year ago. The RadioKit
catalog is particularly luscious - lots of air variables, vernier dial
drives, coil forms, miniductor, all that real radio stuff. Good luck.
