The Diablo API supports RS232 serial, Centronics parallel, and optionally
IEEE-488.  What you get depends on the adapter cable that you use- for RS:

   Signal name   I/O pin     RS232 (DB25P)

   Frame ground   22          1
   Transmit data  24          2
   Receive data   48          3
   RTS            23          4    (pulled up to +12)
   DSR            49          6
   Signal ground  47          7
   DTR            25          20

The I/O pin refers to the 50 position connector on the printer- if you want
the parallel pinout, drop me mail and I'll SNail or FAX it to ya.
