[sci.electronics] New LPC synthesizers available?

tindle@ms.uky.edu (Ken Tindle) (03/22/91)

I have a TI chipset (speech processor and ROM) that uses linear predictive
coding, and National's DigiTalker used to exist, but...

Is anything like this around now? I only need a few words, which I would
like to be very high quality, and a low parts count would be a plus.

Is there a manufacturer who has a speech synthesizer that uses the I2C
serial bus structure (Philips)?
