[sci.electronics] DIN jacks

yoshi@nocusuhs.nnmc.navy.mil (Dojun Yoshikami) (04/11/91)

Does anyone know a supplier who will sell mini 8-pin din jacks? These are
the kind you find on the back of Apple Mac's (serial and Appletalk), and also
on NeXT machines (etc).

I have been looking for these for days! If anyone could find a better
supplier than the reference I'll give, let us all know.

Jameco has them for $1.49 each in the 8-pin female panel mount style.

WHILE (Soapbox Mode) DO {
    Jameco used to be a good supplier until they raised their minimum order
    amount to $50.00 - too bad, it's a real loss to their customers. I know
    that I don't want $50 worth of mini-DIN's when one will do.
ENDWHILE

If you want to get in touch with them anyway,

Jameco Electronic Components
1355 Shoreway Road
Belmont, CA 94002
