Hi,
I have a cable net in my house but several channels are scrambled.
Last week, I bought a kit that should take care of this problem (yes, I
know it's illegal). However, the circuit does not work properly.
It is very diffucult to adjust it for a stable picture.
I do not exactly know how the circuit works, but it seems to trig from
a signal in my TV-apparatus (a coil is put on top of the apparatus).
The main component in the circuit is a Toshiba 4093 (NAND Schmitt-Trigger).
Could somebody explain to me how the (de)scrambling works and how I can improve
the circuit. If this information is not enough I could post the logical scheme.
Do you know about any articles in magazines such as Radio Electronic that deals
with (de)scrambling signals?
