I trying to locate a store that has vacuum tubes. There was an article in the San Jose Mercury describing a store in San Jose, or Santa Clara that specialises in Vacuum Tubes. Seems the guy who bought the place from the original owner (or inherited it from his Dad - don't remember), discovered that he had just aquired one of the best collections of tubes in the world, and decided that out of date technology might make a pretty nice niche market. According to the article he was right, and now the store actively aquires tubes from all over the world, and supplies them to the military, musos, and hi-fi connisieurs who "believe" in the "tube sound".
