[sci.electronics] Sync Signals on a Paradise SVGA

bradw@zaphod.UUCP (Brad Wagner) (04/30/91)

I have a Paradise SVGA card that puts out five different signals on my cable.

1. RED
2. GREEN
3. BLUE
4. Vertical Sync
5. Horizontal Sync

This works fine when connected to my Mits 20" monitor, but I would like to also
use an old Megatek monitor that I have from a Racal-Redac CAD system on another
system that I have. The Megatek monitor uses 3 inputs currently.

1. RED
2. GREEN with composite sync
3. BLUE

I need a device that will combine the two sync signals with the green so that
I can use a Paradise SVGA card with this monitor.

I appreciate any ideas that the net world has on this problem.

I have tried building a couple of circuits already with come high speed op-amps
buy they don't switch fast enough for the green signal. I would like to know
what else to try or if I can purchase something off the shelf.
