It seems that lately all our EPSON printers are giving up en masse (sp. ??) We have several now (5 ??) that have been determined to be dead nad I am told that it is not cost effective to fix them (by electronics shops) and I was unable to determine what the problems are. It seems that all of them have the same problem ie will not go online after power up while they beep like crazy on power up. I would like to give them a more thourough examination but I have no schematics or any information on them. Does anybody know where I can get any information on these machine? All of them are of the FX-85/86 style and they seem to be very similar (inside and outside). Any help will be appreciated. Andreas Kasenides andreask@bcm.tmc.edu .
