[sci.electronics] Wanted: 6502 Cross Assembler

flloyd@L1-A.West.Sun.COM (Fred Lloyd SUN Phoenix SE 602-275-5537 x17) (04/30/91)

Thanks to all who responded to my requests about a Touch-Tone decoder
IC. I think I'm on a good track for some now...

Next item: I need a cross assembler that I can use on a UNIX system
for the 6502 target architecture. This is a hobby project and so I'd
like to find a public domain version. Any help would be appreciated.

One was posted to alt.sources a while back, not only did it do 6502 but about
10 other micros as well. It was called FrankASM or something like that. I
haven't needed it yet so I haven't compiled/used it yet though. You should be
able to get it from one of these:

cheops.cis.ohio-state.edu 128.146.8.62 alt.sources, unix-pc
schizo.samsung.com 134.228.1.2 alt.sources, comp.sources.games,
 sunic.sunet.se comp.sources.misc, alt.sources, GNU
