This is a real shot in the dark, but here goes anyway: I have an AKAI AAV-401 receiver where the primary winding on the power transformer is burned out (or somehow broken off internally in the transformer). After some searching, I found out that Mitsubishi (who takes care of Akai service nowadays) will sell me a new transformer for $129 ++. This is more than half the purchase price of the receiever, so I'm not too keen on it. So: Does anybody out there have a hopelessly dead AAV-401 which I can get a spare transformer from (at some reasonable price)? -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lars E.
