Gee, I've had such good luck on this group recently hunting down some hard-to-find schematics, I thought I'd try for the supposedly impossible. I have a broken ST500 Cabletron Ethernet Transceiver. Anyone have any documentation? Cabletron wants over 100 bucks to repair it, which is almost what it's worth new. Thanks for reading! Jim Durham (durham@w2xo.pgh.pa.us)

Here's how to get a schematic of an Ethernet transceiver: Look at the chips in it (probably National Semiconductor) and write to the chip manufacturer. They give a circuit to be used with a particular chip set. The transceiver will probably be very, very close to this circuit. -- ------------------------------------------------------- Michael A.
