Just had to get the cable company to replace the conveter box yet
again, (there are now service histories pasted on the bottom of all their
convert boxes heh), but they left the pop-rivits open on this one. I'm
intensely curious about cable tuners (having disassembled lots of mechanical
ones but never could never afford an electronic one), but how do I get past
the spring ready to be sprung on a Jerrold 450? Or is it just going to break a
single filiment wire (like some I've encountered) which is easily fixed?
This is just to satisfy my intense curiosity about tuners and such, not to
defraud anybody (even if they do suck beyond belief)..
