I'm looking for information on the HUB operating system. My reference is M O'Dells paper in the Sept 87 EUUG proceedings: "The HUB: A Lightweight Object Substrate" In this he writes ``The Hub was created by Gary Grossman, then with the Centre for Advanced Computation at the University of Illinois. The design was first implemented and described by Masamoto for his Master's thesis under Grossman's direction.'' The reference Mike gives is: K. Masamoto, "Implementation of HUB Processor," Master's Thesis, U. of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana, 1976. However, the U of I claim it is not their publication. Can anyone tell me what the correct reference is or how to get it otherwise? Also does anyone know of further work in this area? Many thanks Alan Sexton tel.
