(I apologize if you've seen this before. Our poster has been having problems.) The following is an announcement of the next TRON International Symposium, to be held Dec. 5-6 in Tokyo. The conference will be conducted in English. Recently the exchange rate has been about 145 Yen for 1 U.S. Dollar. Thus the non-member registration fee is a bit over $400. The TRON Association now has 133 Corporate Members, with the recent addition of AT & T Japan and Digital Equipment Japan. There are new category of membership, including one for individuals. INTRODUCTION TO THE SIXTH TRON PROJECT SYMPOSIUM (INTERNATIONAL) ________________________________________________________________ INVITATION TO PARTICIPANTS __________________________ The Sixth TRON Project Symposium (International) will be held in December to introduce the latest TRON-related developments and acquaint participants with the current level of research under way. The event will be sponsored by the TRON Association, which was set up to promote the goals of the Project. The symposium will take place over a two-day period, beginning with tutorials on the ITRON, BTRON, CTRON and Chip on opening day. Also scheduled are presentations by specialists from Japan and other countries, which are expected to include technological reports. During the event, participants will also have the opportunity to observe the latest TRON based products on display in an exhibit area.
