I've seen this video on MTV for about a week by two guys who call themselves 'EBN-OZN'. The song is 'AEIOU sometimes Y'. This is a very strange piece and the two guys look like Damon Edge and possibly Helios Creed, both from Chrome. The MTV video jerky said that they don't know who 'EBN-OZN' are yet, making me think that it could be Chrome breaking away from their old sound. The song, by the way, is a very low key rap, with mumbled words and lots of synthesizers (more Chrome trademarks). I haven't heard anything like it before, and I wonder why such a wimp MOR station like MTV would be playing some thing like this. I would have expected to have seen this on USA Night Flight first, though they are starting to wimp out due to a large following. David

The title of the song is "I.O.U." (not AEIOU) and the group that sings it is Freeze. Disco will never die!! It has just been renamed "danceable rock", "danceable new wave",..........

AEIOU video has played several times on MV3 (the LA daily music video show) and gets some airplay in LA.

There are two versions to the song and I beleive they have different titles. The song refered to earlier (not "I.O.U." by Freeze) is not the same as the one refered to by hogpd!bdot. Also, Disco is not danceable new wave or rock.... Andy Andres, AT&T CP Labs(??), Neptune, NJ

Sorry. No way. The song is called "AEIOU sometimes Y" and it is by EBN-OZN. I can read, if nothing else, and MTV always has the name of the group, the song title, the album (if any), and the record company. I have heard the song you are talking about, and the words sound similar, but the music is very different. EBN-OZN are a blond guy that looks like Stewart Copeland with duck lips and a guy with black hair who looks like the bride of Frakenstein. Disco will never die, until all of the idiots do. Danceable rock and new wave are silly. Rock and new wave have always been danceable. The new dance stuff is disco in disguise. David

The title of the song referred to by the original article was "AEIOU and Sometimes Y" by the group EBN-OZN. I think you missed a connection somewhere.
