It has been several years since I have used WS but this is how I got continuous underlining. There are (I think) 4 user defineable keystrokes that can be set up to generate escape sequences to the printer. If you have the WS installation package and your printer has the ability to underline characters, you can easily set up one sequence to turn on underlining, and another to turn off underlining. They are inserted into the text the same way you now toggle the default bold and underline.
