Bob Bailey, Keith Peterson, and OTHERS Please allow me to clarify my message of earlier this week. Simtel 20 is a SUPREME place to look for software, but ONLY if you know WHAT you are looking for...When I said I was lost, I meant it... I have downloaded an ASMbler, and a LINKer....So I manage to convert an ASM file to a HEX and SYM ile, and now my linker wants an OBJ file..!! ARGGGGGHHHH!!!! Talk about LOST?!?!? Either WHERE in Simtel20 (Specific filename/directo) or WHAT am I looking for? What good is a HEX file? Where do I get HEXCOM? How do I make an OBJ file? I even have SAVE.COM...All I need is LOAD.COM, and I'd prob. be in business...No luck....I don't have it... Looking for a file in Simtel20 is like looking for a person in the streets of New York City at rush-hour! Can someone explain CP/M to this DOSamaniac??? Bob Bailey, I can't send mail to you...Can you leave me an ARPAnet path? Thanks, +-----------------+-------------------------------------------------+ | _ __ (TFM) | Richard A.
