This is probably a good deal for someone who would like to pick up a good running, nice old machine. I have a Televideo 816/40 with a 40 meg hard drive in it. This is a 16 user, multiuser M/PM (TurboDOS) system. I have original disks, manual and it is in very good shape (nothing wrong with it, and it was never abused -- and has never had a problem). Basically, it sits on a shelf and collects dust. Someone would probably be able to use it. It has 16 RS422 ports and can be used with any of the old 8 bit Televideo terminals/Computers. It was more of a network server than a Mainframe. There are, doubtless, a few people who would still have some use for this machine. I imagine it would control some device well if someone likes the old Z80A assembler, or wanted to play with turbodos. If anyone is interested in this machine, (perhaps as a spare if you still have one of these running in a back room) please contact me.
