Christopher Hassell asked about a VT100 emulator for his NorthStar Advantage. Keith Petersen mentioned QTERM. This has the advantage of being free, but at the moment there are not very many machine/terminal overlays available for it. I don't believe there is one for the Advantage, though if the Advantage emulates one of the common terminals it might be quite easy to convert an existing overlay for the rest of the hardware. Another possibility is the commercial version of MEX. The basic MEX-Plus package costs $60, but an enhanced package for an additional $30 (or $40 with remote dial-in, too) includes terminal emulation capability. The VT100 terminal is one of those supported. As far as terminal emulators go (which may not be far enough), the one with MEX is pretty full-featured and complete. QTERM is still trying to catch up to it. More information about MEX can be obtained from NightOwl Software (Ron Fowler) at NightOwl Software, Inc.
