I need help in finding a way to use INGRES when the data
is to be kept on a separate disk. We're working under
4.2bsd and a "-m" flag does exist which is supposed to be
of some help, although the documentation doesn't explain
clearly what that help is. Anybody out there have any suggestions?
The main problem is telling INGRES to look on the other disk
for the information instead of the default. The database is too
large to be kept on the default (unless we kick everyone else off) so
I have no other choice. Please mail responses. Thanks in advance.
