[comp.os.cpm] Help wanted for LSI octopus

tet@UKC.AC.UK (Tethys) (03/28/90)

I've recently acquired an LSI octopus micro. It has a single 5.25"
floppy, and an internal hard drive. It apparently runs something
called CCPM 86, which stands for Concurrent CP/M. It can supposedly
read IBM PC disks, and possibly write in that format, too. It came
with "wordstar" and "ed", but no manuals (I picked it up for #10 at
a junk sale, # being pounds sterling). Does anyone have *any*
information whatsoever about this machine (preferably manuals/
documentation of the machine and/or OS). Can software still be found,
if so where (in the UK, preferably)? Can it run standard CP/M stuff?
Does anyone have any software?

Does anyone have an address where I can contact LSI???

Cash will be forthcoming for any physical (ie disks, manuals, etc.) help.

 Thanks,

  Tethys
