	Does anyone know where I can get a c compiler under vms that doesn't
compile or run using decs compatible mode code.

C compiler for VMS:  Try VAX-11 C, sold by DEC.

You old DEC employees are always pushing DEC products.  Anyway, what an
unlikely source for a C compiler for VMS!
