I have been hacking away at a California Computer Systems S-100 system for over a year now, and I have nearly everything running at full capacity. I have a ton of software running, and have written my own device drivers for nearly all my custom hardware. My problem is that, while I did get a bootable disk with the computer, I did not get the system disk (well, ok, I did but it was apparently damaged). As a result, I cannot SYSGEN or MOVCPM, and all of my device drivers are horrible kludges. Does ANYONE out there know where I can get the complete system disk so that I can reassemble a nice nifty new CBIOS? My system has two 8-inch DSDD (1.2Meg) top o' the line drives, but it would be nice to receive said files over the network by UUENCODED e-mail or by ftp, if possible. Incidentally, a comment: I have been following this newsgroup for a few months now and I am amazed at the amounts of money CP/M people buy/sell their systems for. I found most of my system listed in old _Byte_ ads for around $2500 ten years ago; I picked it up for $35. You certainly can't beat a deal like that, but I would never never never never consider several hundreds of dollars for obsolete hardware (of course, I mean that endearingly).

I tried to respond via email but it ket bouncing. Anyway I have a CCS system and the source code you are looking for. I would be more than willing to arrange a swap for software. Bill Hooper wgh@hprmo.hp.com (w) (916) 785-5135
