Hi again, glad someone picked up my last mail. Okay, here I go again.
I can only say: NZCOM and Z3PLUS both work excellently for all CPCs. Z3PLUS
was actually run on a PCW by Jay Sage for 3" copies.

Here's the vendor of the harddisk used by more than 50 people with great
pleasure: Dobbertin Elektronik GmbH, Brahmsstr. 4, D-6835 Bruehl, Germany
Tel. 06202 / 71417 They also provide a patch for the silicon disk operation
ROM, since there is a hardware error (slight) in the device itself.

Everything they sell is working faultless and very well made. If you ask for
info, please refer to me as well, it helps.

Whoever is interested in functioning as a Z-distributor for his country or
area, do contact me for public domain disks. I have those available in
the Vortex-format, for CP/M Plus Amstrad users, the dpb data are listed here:
24 00 05 1F 03 B0 00 7F 00 80 00 20 00 02 00 02 03 01 (81 on PCW) 50 09 01 00
02 2A 52 60 FF

It is a double-sided, 80 Track format with 704 K capacity netto.
Remember to send enough either money or return vouchers for mailing about
30 disks to your address. Do allow time, since I do all myself.

My address: Schneider / Amstrad CPC User Group Munich, c/o Helmut Jungkunz
Zacherlstr. 14, D-8045 Ismaning, 089 / 969374 (anwering machine too).

I don't know, what a New-Zealand dollar is worth nowadays, but I think, that
the Dobbertin eqipment makes an excellent alternative to buying a PC-Clone.

Keep on z-ing, guys!

Ciao,

Right. I have recieved some information about Z3Plus from him, and
it looks very interesting. I am considering purchasing it, but I
don't know that I can afford it at the moment.

Right. I don't have the article any longer which says how much they
are (I have saved this one), so I would be interested in knowing the
price. Definately the prices would be close, I would have thought.
The freight to NZ might be the factor which swings it in the favour
of not buying (unfortunately). The dk'tronics ram appears to have a
bug in its patch for CP/M plus too. I haven't found it yet, but
some really weird errors occur to do with the disk when it is
intstalled in certain ways (ie, it modifies itself at boot up to the
amount of ram installed).

Okay, that sounds interesting. I will find out how much the
international mail of that many disks is, and how the local postal
service handles return post payements. Should I send disks which
are designed for 360K (IBM style) or 1.2M (IBM style)? My
thought is the first, because I have formatted them to 800K before
without problems. There are sometimes problems with the others.

Can I just check this address (the bit about the answering machine
makes it a little confusing!)... is it:
	Schneider/Amstrad CPC User Group Munich
	c/o Helmut Jungkunz
	Zacherlstr. 14
	D-8045 Ismaning

Thank you for the offer. I will gather together the necessary
disks, and send them off to you later this month.
