I've become interested in playing with color graphics. Since I have an S-100 based CP/M system (a Cromemco System Three), I'm hoping to start with a color graphics card for it. Cromemco made a card called the Dazzler, which apparently was *very* low in both color and pixel resolution. I've also seen reference to the SDI, which may simply have been the order model number for the Dazzler. In either case, these boards have the advantage of being known to work in my machine. A quick search of back issues of Byte magazine revealed that the only other likely choice is a Microangelo, which was produced by Scion, of California. They stopped adverising it in late 1983, and started promoting a similarly-featured board for the IBM PC. One of the nice things about this board was that one could install multiple boards to increase color resolution. They listed for about $700 each. Does anyone have such a board they'd be interested in selling, or know where I might locate one? I'd also be interested in a color terminal (slow, but it works). -Jim.
