We would like to learn about any software packages or systems which provide document storage and retrieval capability. The packages must run under UNIX (tm); they can be public domain or proprietary. Hopefully the package would provide some kind of keyword reference capability, followed by the ability to print out all or portions of selected documents. We have little or no experience in this area, so any and all pointers to commercial or other software will be appreciated, no matter how obvious they may seem to you. Thanks to all who may respond. I have developed document storage and retrieval software for UNIX and other systems that support C compilers. The first version is complete and in use at two sites.
