Greetings, If you have access to a modem, and would like to call a good BBS system, give the Compunet BBS a try at (813) 321-0397. It runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at 300 or 1200 baud. I am the SYSOP. The system runs on a Tandy/Radio Shack Color Computer (CoCo) 1, with 640K of disk space. There are a number of downloads and text files for the Color Computer available, including programs and files for the new CoCo 3. There is a CoCo discussion going on constantly, along with political and religious debates. There are also online games, including a zany "mad-lib" author, Eliza (the AI psychologist), and an adventure set in Sarasota, Florida, which revolves around the kidnapping of the president of a local computer club. Also contributing to the debates are the user polls, which are referred to in the debates to indicate what the "majority" thinks about the issues being debated. If you don't have a CoCo, this BBS probably won't be EXTREMELY useful to you. However, if you do, it's worth giving a try. Thanks in advance. Emery Mandel (eem@jc3b21)
