[comp.sys.m6809] OS9 documentation

ac@utgpu.UUCP (05/15/87)

Most of the trouble I have with OS9 is due to documentation errors and
typos and also bugs in the products which are generally already known.
If you're lucky and talk to the right person the solution or bypass can
be trivial. But having to rediscover each bug myself is a pain.
Is there any possibility we can create an amalgamated bug list and
perhaps even a documenation typo and error list which could then be
distributed on request and/or reposted periodically. Something along the
lines of the moderated OS9 newsgroup. Maybe even as part of it?

Marc (and all),

We are just starting such a bug list on CompuServe.. It will contain a
list of known bugs and fixes, as well as an addendum list of
unsquashed (but identified) bugs. I'll be happy to act as the gateway
to the NET for this buglist, as soon as it appears. I did post a
similar one for LI Ver 2.00.00, but I believe my (then) poster dumped
it to /dev/null.

Coversely, if you (all) have bugs/fixes, mail them to me, and I'll see
that they get cross domain coverage. We have a lot of gurus over there
(CIS).
