#N:uiuccsb:12500008:000:1106 uiuccsb!grunwald Feb 23 15:05:00 1984 I'm looking for a "term" table for the Diablo 1640 daisywheel printer for NROFF. These are the tables whose source typically lives in /usr/src/cmd/troff/term, and whose binaries live in /usr/lib/term. They are used to determine the output encoding for NROFF. In all actuality, I don't really want the table for the Diablo 1640 -- I really want to use this with the Imagen laser printer in the "Daisy" language (1640 emulation). If anyone has a table developed specifically for this, I'd like to have that. Also, if anyone has gotten the Imagen to print 66 lines per page in the Daisy language, could you tell me what settings you use for HMI, VMI and the font? Ours only seems to print 65 lines per page since 66 would cause it to come too close to the paper edge. It's a small difference, but it means you need to stick a .pl 65 in all your documents. This is also being posted to net.laser-lovers, but that doesn't get much traffice, so I hope you'll pardon the double posting. The Imagen you have prints 65 lines per page in "Daisy" wheel emulation probably for the same reason ours did: a bug in the PROM emulator. Imagen has a fix (to make it 66 lines)... call your salesperson.
