[comp.sys.m6809] More OS9 LII Tidbits

megabyte@chinet.UUCP (Dr. Megabyte) (11/05/87)

Just a few little OS9 quirks I thought I would pass on to the net.

1. You CAN generate a DEL char from the OS9 Level II CoCo 3 keyboard.
It is a CONTROL ; (Control Semicolon). This is not in the DOCS,
but seems to work anyway.

2. The accent grave, ASCII 96, is generated by a SHIFT @ (Shift At). It
is however, not displayed properly on hardware screens. Graphics screens
using standard fonts echo a '`' properly, but hardware screens seem to want
to echo this as a normal quote, the same as a shift 7.

More as we know more.
