I'm thinking of designing (and maybe building) an OS-9 work-alike for bank-swithced 6502 and linear-addressed 65816 processors. Is this possible? Basically I'm hoping that I can come up with a multitasking mostly-real-time (low interrupt latency) OS for my machine. Emulating a commercial one might make it easier to port software. Is there any documentation out there that will help me? I assume I'll need something that documents system calls, and I presume I'll also need information on code formats. (I'm aware of the need to generate relocatable code.) Thanks. -- - Ralph W.
