Hey everyone... I too have heard from a RS friend of mine about the new Multi-Pak coming out. And it will, since Tandy discontinued the current MPI about a month ago (You can get them for $69 I think). I HEARD that it will have six slots. That's all he knows. What I want to know is will everything be addressed the same way as the old MPI, so that existing software/hardware combinations will still work? Tandy isn't well known for compatibility... I ask mainly because I am in the middle of a hardware project that will be plugged into the pak and want to know if it's gonna work before I put too much time into it!! I'm interfacing a Commodore 64 SID sound chip to the CoCo. A C64 friend and I have everything planned out. Just have to get the chip and finish some wiring. Then writing the software, of course. But we're pretty confident that it will work. In the current MPI that is. My MPI broke a month ago, and I was going to buy a new one this week. Now I'm not too sure if I should... Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see... Mike
