[comp.sys.m6809] ACIAPAK PATCH

pete@wlbr.EATON.COM (Pete Lyall) (08/18/88)

Due to some recent requests, here is a script that will expand your
ACIAPAK device buffers from they're default sizes to something a
little beefier. This will help with higher speed connections (2400 baud
and above). It was written by Compuserve's Wayne Day. Hopefully it'll
help some of you having problems with ACIAPAK based communications
under LII. This is a good addition after installing the IRQ HACK,
although the latter is not required (but it *is* an excellent idea!).

* This is a patch for the Device Driver module ACIAPAK which increases the
* size of the receiver buffer from 80 bytes to 255 and the transmit buffer
* from 128 to 210.
*
* This MODPATCH script is for Vers 02.00.01 Level 2 (Edition #12 CRC = C1EA10).
*
* Once the module is modified with MODPATCH, it may be SAVEd and
* then inserted into a new boot file.
*
* NAME this procedure PAKMOD_SCR on your disk. Execute it with the file
* redirected as the MODPATCH input:
*   MODPATCH </D0/PAKMOD_SCR
